Gong Xi Fa Cai to all. em. or you can send me ang pow thro snailmail? courier? Ha. I do miss the good o' plentiful ang pow days. Gong Xi fa Cai me.

joking about the ang pows. rather, I don't mind seeing my cousins whom I see probably once a year.

18:24 - A new year, many new resolutions

Unlike most people who will follow the crowds and usher the New Year in a loud way, I attended the New Year service in church in my quiet way. No crackers, foam sprays or shoutings but worships, prayers and sermon. In fact, I learnt more and grew. the Bishop gave his sermon titled 'your choice' about the new year. and the things that we should achieve. and he mentioned about the importance of making resolutions. which I totally agree. the more resolutions you have, the more imperfect you are. but with resolutions, it shows that you (even) noticed your imperfections and your willingness to correct or eradicate them. everyone is imperfect. just listen to people around and you will know what is yours. to ignore is not solution.

My resolutions?
1. be mature. be decisive. take more action. question more.
2. spend more time with God. be it church, personal time, anytime. get involved too.
3. spend less. less material more quality design.
4. Bear no grudge with anyone. Love thy neighbour.
5. Make no empty promise. let no one down.
6. make baby smile more.

and last but not least....

7. learn and speak more dialect. (?!)

Right. 7 resolutions for the new year. I will hold on to them and fulfill them. Happy New Year!
