19:01 - Angus, Christmas Eve and Orchard countdown

Christmas. Not just about hohoho, lalala and Santa. but the day Christ was born. A very significant day. but people have been celebrating it for the wrong reasons. and I too had once fallen into the "Christmas is all about giving" but at least my mind is cleared now. No more Merry Christmas but a Blessed Christmas to All! "don't Merry Christmas me now."

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

looking good at Angus Steakhouse. Where we had our Christmas dinner. baby's pick. the restaurants I chose were all full. that is the thing of making reservation too late lor.

the Guess shirt baby gave me for Christmas. all I want for Christmas. besides her of course.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

the course served. good food. pleasent interior. beautiful girl. what more can I ask for for Christmas?

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Angus Oysters. baby's craving for it is finally apleased. mine too.

2 Santas? And I thought they were icing, berries, strawberries and cherries. but turned out to be plastic. could have ate santa that day. pity.

So after the dinner, we met up with Vin, Kenny and the rest for the Christmas exchange- just a simple exchange of presents with one another. but the whole Orchard stretch is filled with legions of hohoho mad people of different nationalities with their snow spraycan having little skirmish. lelonged at 5 for ten dollars, people bought in cartons and wasted them on each other. it was dangerous. we exchanged fast and bolted in a taxi. people were armed and loaded (to buy more cartons).

Too bad for the Orchard madness to spoil the day, the rest was fine. probably Jian Yi's body shop gift too. hint.

17:47 - Ministry Of Sound

Right after Hooters the same night, we braced ourselves for Ministry Of Sound (MOS), acclaimed to be the world's largest cutting edge superclub. And of course we poor non-regulars worked out a way to get in for no charge. thanks to Robin. there were many of us, from regular clubber D2, Eugene, LC, Robin, we also had from all the way from eastside Sengkang, Darren and Wushu Ivan. clap clap clap. and the rest went to China Black for some NUS bash thing. and suffered there. Har!

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
The big HO-HA about MOS is true. it really does live it up to its name. as big as a government office, cosmo and spacy. it had space like a MoMo, Decor (Interior) like Zouk. that place is so corporate with VIP suites and lounges for all the posh spices in the world.

The groovy retro dancefloor is slicker than your average. It may have been really inviting, but the crowd was not ready. there were not many grooving away and we had plenty of space to move around. not to Eugene's liking (he likes it packed). the crowd that night was really mature. probably demographs of 25-35odd PMEBs. dressed really mature. we all felt like we were really small and young there. like smurfs. anyway, maybe because it was thursday. nevertheless, we had fun there. well except for baby lah that is. she was not feeling groovy that night. all thanks to Comfort.

Back home! after dancing the night, we embraced each other and the pillow and fell asleep liao.

A totally well spent day.

15:54 - Hooters + SAF = Madness

It was madness. but surprisingly fun. not with the Hooters girls with their signature Hooters tight tops and bright orange hotpants. but with the guys. yes... the guys. lots of Hooters wings, ribs, wine and beer as well.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Well planned event by the Raft committee. There were nice doorgifts and I was this very close to winning a Creative MP3 Player. Argh. why give it to regulars?! they could well afford it. must be rigged one. must be.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
Our dear PS. last in the friendly beer drinking contest. took about 50ml then looked like lobster liao. and the emcee had to ask him to finish the beer before he could leave. "don't waste lah. sit here. until you drink finish then can leave ar." and we laughed and took pictures of him. poor him.

Image hosted by Photobucket.com
which two of the them are guy impersonation of the Hooters girls? birthday boys enter the life of Hooters. should have sabo LC. somebody 21 already. his belated birthday gift? a stolen Hooters edition calender. with Hooters girls of course. should have seen his face. grinning cheek to cheek. haha. right mr LC?

If you think that was all... wait till I post the pictures taken from Wushu Ivan. all the buayas will be exposed. anyway, bet you did not know the Hooters grils wore stockings. har.

21:31 - My weekend, lights and christmas tree

Like I mentioned before liao, this weekend is titled, baby pampering weekend. consisting of bright lights, delicious foodfare, shopping and unlimited massage.

Tang's decor reads,"Even wise men seek Jesus". How true that is. and presented best decor in the entire Orchard stretch. by me lah.

02:05 - Tis' the season to be jolly

Indeed It is. Christmas does give the mood to be jolly. but this is not the main reason why I am so jolly tis' season. why? I AM FINALLY OUT OF MY DREADED CAMP! hohoho. my confined period is finally over and my ID is back where it belongs- my wallet.

My poor baby had to go thro' so much during my days in camp. that I must self declare the coming few weeks,"Baby pampering week".

I should also take this time to post this few memorable pictures that I did not have the chance to post (due to confinement).

The only Christmas like picture taken before my unfortunate exercise. but we took some more pretty sights today. which I will post when sufficent time.

Polymate Jessie's birthday at Fish & Co Bugis. really unfortunate that she is indeed the one with the blocked out face (on left).

And this is my Baby's 22nd Birthday celebration. pretty girl with pretty smile and a pretty delicious La-na chocolate cake.

And how can we forget... Russ Chia, probably the world's most heaviest Japanese Chin & most pampered one at it.

How jolly am I now? - any number that you are thinking right now mutiply by 1,000,000. that much.

21:03 - Days of my life (part 1)

This is the life I past as a convict. a convict of my stupid mistake. 14 days.

Day 1 Friday - with TLC
The first day. and with LC. Missed baby badly. had to absorb alot of reporting timings and whatnots. and was not the least feeling good. the rest sang their bookout song with so much happiness when they book out. I just faded into the shadow of my company. still coming to terms with the punishment and the fact that my leave was gone. but still had little smiles within to know that I will be out for Christmas. Played jenga, PS lost and slept early. I think.

Day 2 Saturday - with Yirong
Pretty slow day. cannot remember much except got barked by black dogs and got pretty freaked out. made friends with those charged ones as well. miss baby.

Day 3 Sunday - with D2
Got ang mo orderly. spoke alot of english, and did not want to do alot also but we played rank.
"Eh. go call PizzaHut" or "Go collect the pizza liao"
orderly shakes the head.
"no?"
"you see this? (point to three strips on shoulder), can lah"
"wah lao sergeant.play rank."
"ah bo then" (translation- of course!)
Also known as the day I spend the most $$$... with all the Mac and PizzaHuts. also known as the totally chinese programme day. "Speak more mandarin k". and also known as the Chinese chess day for the orderly. jiang! miss baby!

Day 4 Monday - with Robin
Good o Robin resupplied me with two big packs of Vitasoy and reading books (The Teenage Textbook and The Teenage Workbook). read the books and felt really young. and my SamSung charger got wasted. to think they had a safety logo on the thing itself. wasted! argh. and miss baby.

Day 5 Tuesday - with Seng
figured 1700 is the best time to bathe. the sun will heat the water tank and hence, the water is hot. ah ha. was also the busiest day since the punishment. task here task there. what a day. miss baby too.

Day 6 Wednesday - with Shawn
Snow White day. sleeping the day away with shawn (the guy who will pay 600$ for a pair of designer shoes). miss baby heavily. haiz. cannot wait to get into your arms and melt in it. o my baby!

Days left - 9 more days! 9 more days to book out day. I must say again, and again and again, that I may sound like I am truly enjoying myself here like a hotel/chalet stay. beg to defer, I am not. the rest of my guys are either overseas in places like Bangkok, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, KL, Genting and Germany, or slacking at home, hugging their girl, wasted in clubs and/or singing in pubs. haiz. and to think Seng sincerely asked me if I wanted to go Mambo (Zouk) with them tomorrow. I nearly had a case of fits.

17:08 - Charged!

I will not start with," It has been a long time..." well. since that long time, many shit has come out of no where. like the chinese proverb (direct translation) "say out words long" which means too much things to say, so i will cut the bull in half.

I have been charged. of course guilty as charged. I would not say much, just in case any men in green stumbles on my little blog and further charge me. just say that I accidentally, due to negligence, tested the float limit of my rig and caused chaos on the bank and flames to sprout from the ears, nose and eyes of CSM. It was not a pleasant experience. not at all. I was on the verge of jumping off the pilot stand into the propellors when I saw the amount of water it collected. It was really not a good day at all. I grounded, stalled (engine fault) and geared jam (gear fault). but the night was a different story altogether.

I managed to raft! and succeed! all thanks to two people. first is God almightly. who delivered my many prayers. the second is baby. who encouraged me and prayed over me. through the night, I pondered over the entire event and told myself, what ever happens, happens for a reason. and to think about it now, the accident happened during a training exercise (before we turned ops). what will happen if this happened during my coy's grading exercise? hmmm. DB?

anyway, enough of myself. I have 14 days to myself. but my poor baby now have to spend so many days to herself. to my baby: I am really sorry baby. because of my stupid negligence, I have caused all this. I promise you a big big surprise on the 16th k. em. no. I am not the surprise. but something else.

Haiz. either way, there's nothing I can do now. just serve in silence ba.

A big thanks to all who contributed their: potato chips, biscuits, prawn crackers, discman w/o disc (no punt there), portable TV, PC magazines, lots of coke and a Tech manual and words of encouragement and support.

and lastly and most importantly, my baby. for everything and the much needed love (especially now.. sob). I love you baby! 10 more days!
