Yes! even with 650degree left eye and 700 degrees right eye. As of friday, 20:00, I am bestowed the title of marksman. all thanks to my strict training in arcades. Nah. It was because I lifted everything to God. and he took care of things. Not by my will, but yours be done! Believe it or not, I shot very badly for the practise shoot. but I prayed hard and during the shoot, not only did he calmed me down, but steadied my arms for a better aim. And then he delivered.
How did I fare?: Day shoot- 12/16 night shoot- 12/12. Highest in the company. what a brag. TLC will punch me if he sees this. haha.
It indeed has been long x 3 since I have last blogged or even touched a mouse, pressed on a keyboard or heard the cpu run. haiz. have so much to say, so little time, so much to do. so what is happening that is keeping me from caressing the mouse?
Call of duty My company is going bonkers. we are like getting involved into every and any event that is happening in the battlion. starting from the recall manning (mobilisation exercise) that totally ate my weekends (nearly ba.. if I had not sneaked off for the night..). we did nothing for nothing. well. what I meant was we were not activate (not mobilised). but two days off lah of course! and how about the National Cadet Corps Camp that we are currently hosting? Haiz. 4days 3 nights for the 14-15 year olds to have fun while we had 2weeklong of behind-the-scenes preparations that nearly drove some of us mad. the kids loved it. with all the games, assault boats and comets. and for this, some off days as well lah. Then how about my whopper duty? Company Orderly Sergeant and Duty Sergeant back to back. did many dumb mistakes and will probably face the music the coming week liao. haiz x 2.
Knowing Christ Most importantly, I have been engaging myself with God words. Probably not aggressively but at least I have picked up from nearly nothing. How? Through the Purpose Driven Life by R.W., my church's New Members Course, the Bible and of course, my baby. I want to know you better Lord!
Minutes to see my baby: 5minutes from now . Feeling after being confined in camp for a week or so: nearly forgotten how a civilian should behave. Been caged up too long. I'm like a bird I wanna fly away... tomorrow still got visit to Fire Station. Haiz x 3.
Went to Pet Safari, Simei and saw this young pug. and it so reminds me of someone. of course no names will be disclosed lah. but those in my company will probably know who.
Despite not feeling well, we still headed down to Zouk. Do not get me wrong. I will not die if I do not club. I am not that serious a clubber. the only (few) reasons why I was there was because: Eugene, Robin and rest, Alvin, JianYi and Janvion and a few more hi-bye friends were there, plus, baby and I were curious about what's new.
the good thing that happened yesterday was how we got in real fast. Phuture was all sold out. so baby and I got to Zouk entrance and V.I.P.ed our way in. so in short, we got there, we got in. no queuing and no hassle. haha. And so I quickly waved JianYi and girlfriends to be V.I.P.ed in as well. Robin was amazed. the one thing that is amazing is, we got no V.I.P.! Ah-ha.
So when we got in. the crowd was forming. the only thing that really caught my eye was the water fountain structure outside the toilet (below), it left alot of question marks on people's minds. and mine too.
many were wondering how you operate one of these. they teased, caressed, pinched, smacked and punched it. some even thought it was automatic. all got too complicated the minds. anyway, the retro music was great, the crowd was nice and thick. the only thing was that, I think this week I am pretty fated with those little punks. they were all around us. bunch of female monkey punkies, male punks desperately seeking females (like wolfs), sleeveless punks (who sweat like mad and rub their liquid on you) and punks who know they cannot squeeze anymore yet want to squeeze somemore. haiz. and so we left early. and saw the queue still snaking outside at 1.30am. my night has just ended, and yours? waiting to begin.
Number of times rub shoulders, butt, hands, legs with punkies: once every second? Number of people behind in queue when we took the V.I.P. lane: probably 329 people ba. People's reaction when we left the building and they are still queuing waiting to get in: full of admiration and question marks. they have no idea the punkies that are inside the building. Zouk should raise the age limit to like 21? but na, nowadays these little punkies can really spend.
Is having tv marathon. tv drama marathon. now baby is engross with her korean drama (Stairway to heaven) she is ignorance to everything. taped because she missed it last night due to camping. Will suffer a little today (2 hrs worth of Stairway to heaven!!), but glad can see the light at the end of the tunnel liao. it is finishing soon. now the storyline is extreme. she just cries and cries. when she eat, she cries. when she talks, she cries. whatever she does, she will cry. whatever the male lead says/does she will cry too. oh my. let us all cry together. the theme song also forever replaying. but now got one more new track. but not so furiously replayed. anyway, let me go get myself engross as well.
What I think of this show: ultimate tear jerker of the year. never watched a show where people cry like it is part of dialogue. wow.
Back! from our sweet little camping trip. everything was perfect. probably except for the teams of young punks who came at all the weirdest hours of like 1am, 3am and 4am!? they would just walked past and hang out on the breakwaters. I thought bengs were extinct in Singapore but guess not. they came alive at the wee hours, sprouting dialect vulgarities, and making the most irritating sounds. so when one of them cut their feet while splashing water in the sea, the rest cursed and made their way back to wherever they came from. and never did came back. then there was another group who came to the breakwaters too. a bunch of girls in black tube tops. who came, smashed bottles, and left. and of course there were the quieter packs. who came, talk personal troubles then left.
We actually got to Pasir Ris beach pretty late. but baby and I are veterans. so with a few strokes, we managed to set our little home for the night. our blue canvas home. and the fire too. of course this usually depends on who is doing it lah.
baby took this. the orange thing is the flame. not hantu (ghost) mind you.
Pretty neat right?
the whole course consist of Thai honey coated chicken breast, dory fish, samba seafood platter, hotdogs, and satay! all prepared by ex-Home mech A student. all to perfection. muack. well. I bought the Pokka green tea (in right background). if you want to know what I did... em. yep.
how wonderful! just the two of us.
Haiz, we slept through the sunrise. but at least I got this pretty sight.
Titled, Shadows. an idea from baby's big sis, lynn and her fiance, kevin. so piece of art right?
Shadows in water.
drying our feets. and heading for Mac then homehome!
Number of times I coughed thick slimely stuff out of my mouth: em.. 21? . but thanks to the green tea. it kept me down. believe me, green tea really does have healing effects. but too much green tea results in more frequent loo trips. common sense right? Number of times I woke up because of young punks: 8. thankfully only one of groups were bengs. Feeling?: tired but happy this trip took place. another first. can add on to our collection of first time liao. So what happened after?: went MacDonalds to pay patriotism to its Breakfast extra value meal. oh my.
